While flipping through some summer home furniture photos from Ralph Lauren, I was inspired to track down some plantation-style woven wing chairs. They come in all price points from high to low. Check out Ralph’s gorgeous images and then pick out an RL-style chair to bring the look home.
The headboard above is what inspired my hunt for the chairs. Imagine them mixed with lots of Mediterranean blue and white (plus a little gold).
This first one is perfect, with elegant curves and pleasing proportions. You select the fabric to suit. Blue and white stripes perhaps? This Ethan Allen Savannah Chair costs $1,379 CAD.
Next up we have Crate & Barrel’s Plantation Wing Chair with charming turned legs and a natural, hemp-like construction. It costs $749 CAD.
And for the best price in town, head over to Pier 1 for their Banana Armchair. For $350 CAD, you could say the price is bananas! Well, certainly more affordable, anyway!
