Cap d’Antibes Villa

This summer, I finally read Tender Is the Night, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s tale of the glamorous, sun-soaked escapades of wealthy Americans in the French Riviera. It’s not lighthearted, but I’ve been fantasizing about a Mediterranean escape ever since, especially when I saw that this 8,600-square-foot villa in Cap d’Antibes — where the author himself once supposedly stayed — is now for sale. Join me as I imagine a summer of sunshine, salade niçoise every day and ocean-view cocktails every night.

The warm stucco walls and shutters of the 19th century villa reflect the sun-and-sea hues of the Côte d’Azur. Lush gardens continue on the rooftop terraces, and there’s even an outdoor pool.
