Colourful Rural Homes

Over the summer, I enjoyed some time in rural Quebec and couldn’t help but notice all the wonderful country and lakeside homes. The lush green pastures are enough to make me want a countryside retreat, but it’s the lively colours that really caught my eye. Here are a few brightly hued homes that might be of inspiration for those putting a new coat of paint on their exteriors this fall.

Blue is the perfect colour to complement lush greenery. If you don’t have large, leafy trees to surround your home, a classic wood fence will do just fine, too!

Red accents look cheerful in the summer, and festive in the winter. What’s not to love?

You can’t go wrong with red siding and small window panes. If you need to install new sidings for your home, you may contact professional siding contractors for expert help.

Nice white trim is like a tailored white shirt — it just works, no matter what. Crisp and classic, it makes any colour pop.

Do you have a colourful home? What’s your favourite colour combination?
