I’ve got some exciting news to share! Tomorrow (Thursday April 7th), I’m going to be presenting some spring decorating ideas and DIYs on CTV’s The Marilyn Denis Show! I’ve been a huge fan of Marilyn and her programs for years, so this is a huge honour for me.
In preparation for the show I did a little shopping — thrift and not-so-thrift — to get inspired. I’m thinking of fresh, springy colours, floral motifs with maybe a touch of black, and lots of affordable tips and tricks.
I’m thinking this wallpaper from Thibaut says spring with a capital S, don’t you?
I was lucky to find this handsome chest of drawers at my local Whitby, Ont. Value Village. A perfect makeover candidate!
Toronto’s Angus & Company is always full of inspiration for me. Check out these drop-dead gorgeous gourd lamps I’m hoping to use in the Marilyn segment.
I hope everybody (including Marilyn) thinks my vignette is pretty and spring-y! Be sure to check me out on the show tomorrow morning at 10 EST on CTV! (Click here for your local listings.)
To keep you busy until Thursday, try one of my other DIY projects.
