If you're hosting an Easter brunch or dinner this weekend, try crafting a few of these adorable pocket placecards I came across on Canadian blog Poppytalk. The project comes to us from one of our favourite photographers, Janis Nicolay, who blogs herself.

You can use any type of patterned paper, as long as each sheet is a perfect square. Origami paper works well, but Janis scanned fabrics onto 8" by 8" paper for hers. Crafty! Then stamp your cards with the names of guests in a complementary colour.

Whip up your favourite cookie recipe and cut out bunny shapes with a cookie cutter. Tuck a cookie inside each pouch and place on plates. Cute and simple.

For how-to instructions, see the blog post from Poppytalk.

Happy Easter, everyone!
