David Rocco's Dolce Vita Style

Rocco and his wife Nina host fun and informal parties using their kitchen island as a hub for wine and appetizers.

Rocco, host of Food Network TV's David Rocco's Dolce Vita, keeps things balanced and unfussy, whether he's making a dish or hosting a party. "I don't like anything too perfect," he says. His parties include simple-yet-tasty appetizers such as bresaola (cured beef) wrapped around ricotta, olive oil, black pepper and arugula, delicious breads and cheeses, and Italian wine such as Pichierri Primitivo di Manduria Tradizione del Nonno.
