Dreamy Family Kitchen

Sliding doors connect this kitchen to the backyard, flooding the space with light.

For the kitchen island, homeowner and real estate agent Emily Norris reused a solid wood cabinet that came with the house (she was told it was an old Simpsons department store display case). Emily tried to talk herself into saving money with butcherblock counters, but in the end she realized if she didn’t do Bianco Carrara Statuario marble, she’d regret it forever.
