Eye-Catching Art Display

Symmetry reigns in this designer's hallway.

In designer Michael Angus' Toronto home, an 1853 Dutch portrait with wandering eyes greets visitors at the top of stairs (which feature a custom iron balustrade). Antlers and a zebra-upholstered bench complete a first impression that's elegant but not uptight.

For more of Michael's designs, see our photo gallery. Also, watch a tour of Michael's apartment.
