Late-Blooming Clematis

Plant this classic climber in the spring for blooms well into the fall.

Easy-care flowers like Clematis terniflora and C. fargesioides will bloom late in the growing season. Clematis don’t like sun at their bases, so cover their feet with pebbles and keep mulch about two to three inches away from woody stems to prevent rot.
