Contemporary Exotic Home
Toronto architect Richard Wengle and interior designer Connie Braemer combined homeowner Betsy Aziz and her husband Andrew's appreciation for exotic travel and contemporary architecture.
Together they created a 4,300 square-foot home that puts a spin on a traditional home. Coffered ceilings, Egyptian lanterns, industrial elements and modern furniture coexist beautifully in Betsy's house. In the eat-in kitchen, a striking salvaged windmill complements the Douglas fir table and bistro-style chairs.
