To keep this cottage looking like a scrapbook of designer Colette van den Thillart's family history — not an overly chic "designer's cottage" — Colette reused many old pieces, and acquired more furniture at local markets and antique shops, and in Scandinavia and England. In the living room, hits of white keep the space fresh.
