Multipurpose Island
A custom trestle table adds country charm.
Homeowner and designer Brett Sherlock created the farmhouse-style glass-topped trestle table to add counter space and keep the kitchen casual. Now he can pull up chairs for an informal dinner, arrange a breakfast buffet for guests, or display appetizers at a bustling cocktail party. The table is based on a design by Ralph Lauren and was custom-made by Peter Henley in nearby Vineland.
