H&H senior design editor Sally Armstrong bravely moved her family into a two-bedroom apartment for the duration of an extensive eight-month renovation on their Toronto home. The main floor was in need of an update to accommodate their three busy children. The tight entryway didn't have enough room to take off shoes, the dining room needed some personality, the galley kitchen had outdated appliances and the sunken family room interrupted the flow from the kitchen.
