New York City chef Einat Admony shares bold Mediterranean recipes.
Veteran of The Food Network's Chopped and Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Einat Admony is chef-owner of three New York City restaurants. Her new cookbook, Balaboosta (2013, Artisan Books), is Yiddish for "perfect housewife." In this book, Admony augments recipes with gutsy work-life balance stories as a renowned chef and happily married mother of two. Each of her 143 recipes is reflective of Einat's sophisticated Mediterranean palette and her mixed Israeli heritage (Yemenite and Persian). Try her Mom's Chicken With Pomegranates And Walnuts Recipe, or creamy Butternut Squash And Saffron Soup and finish things off with Turkish Coffee Brownies.
