Hollywood celebrity, star of ABC's Desperate Housewives, and avid foodie Eva Longoria has now released a cookbook of her favourite family recipes, called Eva's Kitchen (2011 Clarkson Potter). The book takes readers on her culinary journey — from the food she was brought up on to the dishes she serves during casual nights at home. Eva highlights the essentials of great Mexican cooking with a Texan spin (where she grew up on a ranch), and also includes dishes from Latin America, Italy and France. Serve up her corn and zucchini salad (pictured above) at a summer barbecue, or try her Mexican version of lasagna, piled high with tortillas, salsa and cheese.
