
A festive spread from Toronto food shop Ruby Eats.
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2 cups fresh cranberries
3 oranges, thinly sliced
1 tbsp grated lime peel
1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
1/4 tsp ground cloves
Step 1: Stir sugar and 1/4 cup water in medium saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Step 2: Add all remaining ingredients. Boil until cranberries burst, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Cool completely. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
