
Roast a turkey thigh for additive-free deli meat.
Bone-in turkey thighs (dark meat retains more moisture than white meat — ideal for leftovers)
Olive oil for brushing
Salt and pepper
Provencal herbs
Fresh thyme
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2: Brush turkey thighs (skin on) with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, Provencal herbs and thyme.
Step 3: Bake for about an hour and a half, depending on how many thighs you use. The internal temperature of each thigh should be at least 175°F.
Step 4: Slice turkey and store in refrigerator for easy, healthy, additive-free sandwich meat.
