
An easy mid-week dinner. Season pork with onion and chicken soup, and roast in a slow cooker during the day for a savoury roast come dinner time.
2-1/2 lb. pork roast, trimmed
1 (1-1/2 oz.) package dry onion soup mix
1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup water
Step 1: In a large skillet, lightly brown pork roast on all sides.
Step 2: Transfer roast to a slow cooker.
Step 3: Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine onion soup mix, cream soup, and water; stir well and pour over pork. Cover and cook 7-8 hours on low until tender. Serve with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
