I once saw someone make one of these trees on TV years ago and I thought I'd give it a try. Twelve cans of spray foam insulation later - voila!!!
I also sewed the fitted, pleated, lined roman blind and the matching duvet, pillows,
and made the half moon night table. I'm thinking of redoing the window treatments again though. Does anyone have any ideas for a palladian window treatment?

I made this tree for my daughter's room about a year ago. It took me awhile because I was on a budget and I bought one can of spray foam insulation at a time. The leaves are fabric and are from the dollar store and the butterflies were on sale at the hospital gift shop. MD wants to take it to the next level and go rainforest. Guess that means I'll be making more trees! Thanks for all your great feedback!
That tree would be sooo cool in a kids room or play room for a jungle or outdoor scene!!!!
OMG...that tree is awesome...LOL...what did you use for the branch that hangs over?...is there wire in there or something?...that's really cool...great job and you have one of my favorite things there!....butterflies...next to Tink...they're the best!!
ok i just looked again and i realized it's attached to the wall..i think!...lol...can you tell it's gettin' late...i thought the tree was free standing...either way...awesome job!!

as for the window treatment....what about drapery panels like in the attached photo? (from bhg.com website)
Very creative. Did you do this room for family? I really like the skirted nightstand as well-very nice for this tight space.
