yes, Picton in the Summer....I equate Summer with beaches....and sandhills
I would think more is open as well...galleries, ...etc.
Never have done the castle tour...did go to a Summer wedding, it took place on the Gan. Boat Lines....so we toured the islands...a beautiful warm evening & sunset....lots of food/cocktails.......great time......
I have heard about the sandbanks in PICTON, is it an OK place for the summer? We do kingston quite often, as brother in law lives there ( a commander in the navy ).
We were at the 1000 islands last year, and stayed at one of the INNs there. That was my first time, and I really liked it, we were advised not to do the castle tour, did you do that, we just did the 1-2 hours ferry tour?

The sandbanks in Picton ...Prince Edward County......wineries, vineyards
For those in Ontario, where are the best getaway spots for summer in your opinion? We spend a lot of time at the cottage up north, and we also drive around to little towns and all that
