I received an amaryllis for Xmas last year and loved it. Once it has finished flowering I put it in the basement to dry out and planned to try and get it to flower for Xmas this year.
I notice that it is starting to get a green leaf now.
Shall I plant it in a pot and water it? This will be too early for Xmas, but that won't upset me too much. Anything special I need to know?
I would appreciate any advice.
