Sorry there are no flowers in the picture, but they are small yellow flowers that look like poppies to me. I was just wondering if it was called something else.
These keep popping up in what was an overgrown area just inside my back yard gate. Since we moved here I have transferred as many as I could into this pot, and broken the seed pods in it afterward to ensure I would have a good supply to plant back once my shade garden is finished and needs filling.

Hope you get lucky like I did and find out that one of your weeds is actually a flower. I'm glad I ignored it until it got a chance to bloom!
One site I found with a picture even said this one was RARE. :D
you could find out what you were growing!! I usually grow a bunch of weeds.:D
The fancy name is Meconopsis Cambrica. I finally found some better pictures online, so I figured it out. Funny though-some sites say they require full sun. Mine grow in total shade. Just lucky, I guess!
