You can also use almonds and walnuts for the filling.
Dy'n, I take this sheet of fillo dough, and crown you an honourary Greek. That sounds good.
The syrup that I have used is
4 cups sugar
3 cups water
one half cup honey
one squeeze lemon
bring to boil
