Bathroom floor

I'm about to renovate a bathroom and am considering a white floor. I am a tad worried, though, that this white floor will show evey splash and hair and be a perpetual cleaning project. Is a dark floor more forgiving when it come to looking perfectly clean?

Flooring is a very important part of a home and as per my view; white color is the best for your bathroom floor.

As Mrs. Peacocok said, a dark floor is definitely not forgiving to showing dirt in the bathroom. It will show every spec of dust, powder, watermarks, product oversprays etc. A white floor would be more forgiving, however, a floor in a more neutral colour and/or pattern and texture would be your best bet if you are really concerned. I do find however, that if you just do a quick sweep with a dry Swiffer mop, if keeps the hair in check. Erin

Hi eyesie, it really depends on the pattern and texture of the tiles you choose.  If you want a 'white' tiled floor without the upkeep, you could pick something that has a subtle colour so that dirt won't show as much.

I think both colours have ups and downs... It depends what rest of bathroom will look like with floor...
