I was thinking of putting boxwood in my front urns. Do you think they would survive?

around here. Canadian Tire said they had 2 but sold them. Can you imagine "2"?? Maybe MamboGirl can find some for me and bring them when she comes in a few weeks. Thank you for your opinions!

Would you want to overwinter it in the urns? I am sure it would be fine for the summer, but over winter you would want to see what the zoning is where you are in New Brunswick, and what zone boxwood is. I try to overwinter things in containers and have mixed success - but usually more if the zone for the plant is way colder than the zone for my area. Even then, if they get too dry or too wet, they can not survive. Havign said that, I have a neighbour who has successfuly overwintered some boxwood in a long narrow planter. I guess the short answer is: I don't know, but try!
