Hi Lacombe.....When my sister comes to visit from London I give her lots because she works in an antique shop & uses them for inspirastion to make vinguettes ....she has found items in the mags that are in the store so will display the picture beside the item....I also put them in garage sales or have placed them on the curbside for people to help themselves....I have kept some of the past H&H from over 20 yrs. ago ...it is fun to browse them....I also have some Seventeen Mags from 30+ yrs ago...my GS's girlfriends love looking at them..(.I probably sound like a pack rat but the mags are the only items I hold onto) ....I really should cut out the inspirational pics & make an album...hum...I think that would be a good 2009 project.....The only thing is I would have to win a lottery to fulfill my decor dreams:eek:...
Hey sweetpea, what do you do with your old magazines, at the end of the year? Sometimes I get so many,I go through them again, rip out what I want to keep and if we have a garage sale in that year, I try to get rid of them.

Hi Tom, Welcome to the forum, I subscribed to it last month, I found the book at Chapters in Dec. that was a good article on Sarah. That is a good price on 6 issues for the year. I hope the other books are good like this one.:)
So I was really interested in seeing this magazine. I looked around and found one at Loblaws. It was great! I really loved the articles and most of all the interview with Sarah Richardson. I was thinking of subscribing myself so I looked at the links you provided and it seems they are offering a special subscription offer for $9.99 for 6 issues. It comes out to be something like 1.67 per issue. I provided the link I used to get the deal. :)

I found the magazine at Chapters today, it's the Dec./Jan. Issue. I got it, it's $4.95 it has the picture of Sarah Richardson on the cover when she still had her hair longer. I like the book, very interesting articles inside, the book comes out every 2 months, I did some figuring and if you get the books through a 1 year subscription, then that comes out to about $4.20 each for 6 books. The 1 year subscription is $23.99 plus $1.20 GST, that's $25.19 for 6 books for the year. I don't know if I'm going to go with the subscription, the way I figured it out is I'll be saving around $6.00 if I do go with it.:)
I'll be out and about today, I'll see if I can find it, I usually go to Chapters first to look for any book, I see Sarah's picture is on the Dec./Jan. issue.:)
Isn't that a beautiful home, I think 5000 sq. feet would be big enough, of course I'd have to have the cleaning people come in once a week, ha ha .:)
Isn't it spectacular!! How about splitting the cost, and we can share it ;)
It says 'now on newstands' so I assumed it was the printed version. Wonder why they didn't ask for your street address.
It must be an online magazine - right? since when I entered for the enewsletter and my free copy, they didn't ask me for my snail mail address....
Never heard of it, but I want that Beautiful Home in Nova Scotia!!
