My husband is not a fan of the anchovy. This posed a problem in getting a caesar with zip. I played alot and ended up with this: Bare with me because I cook with my kind of measurements...approx.
In a food processor: 1-2 eggyolks; Juice of 1/2 lemon, 1-2 Tbsp wine vinegar; 2-3 shots of Worster; 5-8 cloves of crushed garlic; 2 squirts of tabasco; fresh ground pepper to taste and (here's the anchovy replacement) Club House cajun spice...Approx. 4-5 shakes. Blend and slowly, really slowly add pure olive oil (again approx. 1 cup)
It should be really thick.
Get a mix of bread, cut in bite-size cubes: french, sourdough, can. rye and in a warm fry pan add olive oil and butter with crushed garlic, till melted and stir in bread tossing and coating. Preheat oven to 150 and toss bread liberally with the same cajun spice, place on a cookie sheet and put in the oven til crisp and then cool. I fry hint of maple bacon, cooled and cut in large bits. toss all together with freshly torn romaine. Can add stir fried chicken breast also with cajun spice. Let me know what you think.

You will need a blender to quickly make this dressing.

Ingredients:
1 Raw Egg - make sure it is fresh
1 clove of garlic
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp mustard
salt & pepper to taste

1/4 - 1/2 cup olive oil

In a blender place egg, garlic, lemon juice, mustard, worcestershire and salt & pepper.

Turn the blender to its slowest setting and slowly add the olive oil.

Mix the dressing with fresh romaine hearts and make sure to use freshly grated parmesan.
