Hi to the gal with the crumbs staying on the chicken..you must dry the chicken first with paper towels then I dust it with flour, then try the crumbs. let me know if it works.
i have a fabulous recipe for a marinate chicken on bbq on on the oven and it is very easy, marinate in the vh sausce honey and garlic for about 6 hours, it is delicious and make very good and tender brochettes on the bbq. try it in the oven too at grill.
It's not really a coating, just a flavour for the skin itself! I just sprinkle a little seasoned pepper, a tiny bit of seasoned salt, and then some parmesan cheese on top! Then, I bake it for about an hour at 350F. The skin peels off really nicely, and is really crunchy if you let it sit for a minute! Mmmmm...I serve mine with scalloped potatoes, usually!

and loved it - please post more!
First, pat dry the chicken with paper towels. Then coat the chicken with plain yogurt or sour cream or dijon mustard... A mixture of bread crumbs or crushed corn flakes will now stick a lot better. Also, pre-heat the baking pan in the oven before putting the chicken on it - this will help make the bottom crispy & not soggy.
