Our copper firepit was very discoloured...DBD told me to spread ketchup over the copper let it sit awhile and wash off...I did aand was amazed with the results.....I had to apply ketchup twice as it was very badly discoloured ...I then went over it with a light application of brass cleaner and it looks like new...THANKS DBD :) I have posted a before & afer photo. :)

That did work well. I bet you had to use a lot of ketchup. Now you are going to need your sunglasses.

Thanks Janet...We use the citronella logs ..I hope they are legal ;) ..at least it isn't a wood fire...The citronella logs keep the bugs away...But I wouldn't roast marshmallows over these logs.I don't think they would taste very good :) I would like to get the firepit with the chimney...Maybe when they go on sale.

fantastic sweetpea.....i want one of these for the summer. Technically we are not suppose to burn them but everyone is telling me as long as you have marshmellows or roasting weiners they wont say anything
