Anyone have a great costume idea for Halloween? My friend always has awesome costume parties and I never know what to wear!

Years ago my SIL went as the "thriller" from Jackson video.
He buried and suit and shoes from the thrift store in the dirt for a week. Dug it up and wore it.

Had fake cob webs all over it, real dries leaves, few twigs etc. He learned to dance like Michael in the video and was a huge hit at a party with his portable CD player with the music from Thriller. He won 1st prize.

...my brother in law telling me once he went to a party dressed as a table. He made a table out of cardboard, cut a hole in the middle where his head fit through and decorated his head as a vase, with flowers perched on top of his head!!! He ate alot of food that night as people were actually resting their food on him.

Depending on your age and sense of humour...and having serious Halloween situations over the years, I can only suggest that kids usually like their super heros and being gross and scary (males) girls like the fairy princess type or current teen pop idol or last resort a witch... talked mine into being the tooth fairy and renovated my own wedding dress for this...I, myself have been a "Blues Brother" (Dan Akrody) a killer bee, my son Pee-Wee Herman... I can imagine some funny ones this year ...Paris Hilton if you are a guy..Martha in stripes..If you think of something to work around ...get ideas at the thrift stores. What kind of crowd will you be with? Do you have someone to team up with...sometimes that makes it easier to come up with a theme.
