We heard a crashing noise after we had gone to bed and it was my cat's doing. She broke one of my candle holders, one of a set of 3 of crackled glass which I had bought for Christmas from LinensNThings and next to them was a Limoge Plate, which my MIL had given me when we went to see her before she died.....thank God she didn't break that one.
You should have seen her sitting under the dining room table looking very guilty and watching us from across cleaning the remains of the candleholder.....we don't know whether she did this to spite ME or not because earlier while in bed she came up and with a different meow she uses to let me know that she's up in our room, I ignored her and she came back meowing again and I just said ok, I know you're here, now go to sleep.....it might have been about 15 mins after that that we heard the crashing noise downstairs in the hall.
This is the first thing she broke since we got her and am hoping it's the last because even my kids never broke anything when they were young :laugh:
