Hi,
My dining room is to the left when you come in the front door and is a separate room from all others. There is a door into the kitchen. I had painted it Louisberg Green but got tired of it and painted it a sickly goldish color. The back of my house is Powell Buff (BM) with rust colored accents and brown leather. Pretty basic earthy colors. I have had my dining room very formal, then kind of formal but now I am looking to make it family friendly and casual. There is something that just doesn't make me want to be in there and yet our only other place to eat is at the island in the kitchen. I'd love to open up the room to the kitchen but we can't. The room has two doorways and has two windows. I am looking for fabric to cover my chairs and a paint color and any other ideas to make it really bright and casual. I know one should have a flow through the house with colors but can I have a little more freedom since it is not connected to anything else? Thanks for any advice.
