worth every km you drive...LOL
Small town hockey and the road trips the best.
I am having a bit of a hard time adjusting to London, and it isn't even that small of a city!
Jeep...and don't forget...nothing beats small town hockey!!!!
I have lived in both City and Country and I liked both but both were well suited to where I was in my life. I moved as a New Bride to the very North of BC and it took 7 hours by 4x4 to get to a paved road now that is sticks but I was young and in love so it was great. Then we lived in a small town of 600 people but only 3 hours to a big City to raise our sons and that was a perfect place to be then, after they were gone we moved to the City and I had all the things I wanted now as semi retired people we like a town that has DR.s and some shopping but not alot of traffic a town of about 35000 and it is just right for this time in our lives. I can adjust to just about anything DH has a harder time with it.
cheers
now that's not true you can...i did...decided to move...and woke up one day and said i wanna live in the country...and i do...and i wouldn't have it any other way
for me, just small city living and that is the way i like it

Living in the sticks, is an acquired taste, you can't just wake up one day and move out to the sticks, it has to have played a role in your life, in some shape or form.
I am from one of the biggest cities in the world, with 6 million people, but now that am here, I refuse to live in a big city again, or in the boonies, so that is why I settled for a moderate size city, something that will class as a HAMLET, where I come from.
cheers

that I am not the only one that decorates instead of counting sheep - I always thought there was something wrong with me lol well, there may be, but at least not on that score heehee !
Actually, I would imagine my mother's or my sister's house, and what I would do to it if I ever got my hands on it - including pulling walls down ! Now that I have my own house (finally) I have quite enough "plotting" of my own to keep me sleeping for a century :D
We want to hear all about your shopping trip and what you bought. Sounds like you are in the Quinte area? I have some friends in Campbellford and Frankford

I used to redocorate places in my head - not even my own place - sometimes other people's places too. Eventually I'd drift off into lovely thoughts. The good thing about dream decorating - is $$ doesn't matter. Of course, daydream decorating is just as fun.
you must work well late at night...i wound have a thousand mistakes....heck i cant even type, so hopeing eveyone understands me lol
