show on dbd's link, it worked fine - you just have to decide how much ring you want to show, and figure out how low down to put your hooks...
there was just a rerun of a Sarah Richardson show where she used normal curtain hooks and rings with a hook (vs one with just the screw loop on it) to hang curtains. I'll attach pictures of parts like she used.

I remade some tab topped curtains into pinch pleated drapes. I intended to hang them on rings so I needed to insert the hooks. I tried several differant ways but couldn't come up with anything that worked and looked good. I ended up tacking the hooks to the back of the draperies. This isn't realy working though. One problem is that I don't have an example to look at - I have no other drapes in the house. I have searched the web with no luck. It seems that there is very little info on drapery making in general on the web.
