We bought a european red-berried elder last year and it's doing really well. I liked the jagged leaves because they are reminiscent of japanese maples, which you can't really grow here on the prairies. Has anyone any experience with this plant/ like it/dislike it? Any warnings or advise for growing it? We had a hard time finding info on it on the internet and want to know more.
