love this time of night....its about the only time i have nothing to do and if i do...its not getting done ;) moving day is coming rather quickly.....monday we get the truck and tuesday we are in.....a zillion things to accomplish, but thought i would drop a quick note with some pics.....the floors are there, just hard to see with all the dust on them.....these were taken a few days back, we do have lighting now. Its been an exciting experience and loved sharing it will all of you.

oreo...she moved quickly on that one.....her house was for sale for like a day.....guess all of our advice and her hard work paid off.......her DH wanted a garage and they lucked out with a great builder...her house faces a forest...just beautiful...and no baseboard heaters..........couldn't be happier for a nicer person....

The choice of paint colour is excellent and from the sounds of it you are happy with it and that's all that counts.

I recently came back here and I see that you are about to move. When I originally joined this board the first topic I read was yours....you were doing a tablescape, I think it was. thank you all for your kind words......we are very excited and its very satisfying to see the girls feeling just as thrilled as we are....Im in complete disbelief that we will be in there in a couple of days.
Pearl......i would certainly let you do my gardens.... not a strong point for me....anything below my waist is not fun :D
jen...........no window treatments yet....can you believe it? ...lol should be easy enough with the sizes and NO BASEBOARD HEATERS... :bliss:
reno.......i think there is a tiny bit of green undertone in the paint....more noticeable in the seaspray, which is in the kitchen....and oh i must check out your sofa.....
DBD...most things we dont use is packed....but far more packing is going to be done the next couple of days.....oh, and the internet will be connected the day after we move in...yeee haaaa!
Zulu....thank you for the compliments on the cabinets....builders choices but im very happy with them.....and my favorite part of the whole house is that patio door with the view of the trees.....
Inglewood....we are very excited.....i guess likely a little nervous too....im sure that wont last long ;)

i thank all of you for your encouragement and kind words.....i was so nervous that i might have fumbled colors, counter tops, cupboards, flooring and so on.....but i feel i didnt do too bad pulling everything together and judging by all your kind words i guess i did alright.... ;)
Our internet will be up and running the day after we move in....so hold onto your seats....im sure i will drive you all bonkers...... :p

Oh what a great feeling you must have about now. All brand new and your color choices are lovely. As DBD posted no baseboard heaters allowing central A/C as well. The weather will be on your side for moving day too. I wish you a smooth move in and the [B]best of luck and happiness in your new home[/B]. The girls must be thrilled to have their owns bedrooms, but I bet they will miss one another too. Those late night chats girls have when sharing a room.

really coming along ! I like the paint - I can see yellow-geen tones in the kitchen, but not in the LR - it may be the same paint, but in a different light, but that's how it looks to me - lots of windows, and I like your floor, too !
