My Mom makes rice balls. First she makes RISOTTO with a red tomato sauce. After its cooked she spreads it out on a plate to cool down. Then when its cool she places some on her hand (flatten it out) adds somes mozarella, covers it up and makes these small football shaped Rice Balls. She them dips them in egg, followed by bread crumbs and fries them in oil and I must say they are to die for. Good Luck and let us know how they turn out!
hmmm...ok thanks anyways...my MIL makes them...DH loves them...whenever i make them she myseriously leaves an ingredient out :mad: ...nobody's better than momma's my ass...i'll get right...LOL
they made a mean rice pudding though! :D
