are tropicals so they need to be brought inside for the winter. Try to give them lots of light, they need lots of humidity also which is difficult in winter so you may find it the plant becomes more susceptible to mite infestations. Try and put them in a warm shower and wash the underside of the leaves once week, that helps but you have to be religious about it. They are not easy but well worth it.
