I have a question regarding my backsplash. We are redoing our kitchen cabinets
(Thomasville Madison with a mocha glaze) and I have a stainless steel chimney hood. I would like to create a focal point with the backsplash. Howeer I don't necessarily want the backsplash to go completely around the counter top, I would prefer to only have it above the stove. I am thinkning of using glass tiles. I am wondering if I should tile from the stove top to the hood or all the way up the wall ( behind the hood) I was thinking of using a reddish colour tile. The kitchen was painted Benjamin Moore Wilmington Tan and the counter tops ( although not choosen yet) will be a light colour. Any suggestions? I would love to see photos from anyone who has a glass tile backsplash. Thanks.
