Karl Forester is a beautiful 5' grass. I have a huge one in my front yard. And although it says Zone 4 and up, mine is in a zone 2

ok...see now why is it that when you think of smoking grass you think of Mel and I.... :D ;)
and to stay on topic...i don't have any of those ornamental grasses...i don't see the point of paying for weeds....mother nature has given me a TON of free ones around here...you'd be amazed how pretty some of them look when you don't know what the hell it is and don't pick it out! :biglol:
We have maiden grass in our gardens and it's our favourite. It gives great impact, height, and a natural feel - plus it's low maintenance (key for me!!!) and relatively inexpensive too.
I can't post any photos because it's not up yet....
