Help selecting exterior porch / rail colors with new black door

I recently replaced my front oak door with a black steel door with a 3/4 glass window - I live in a 2 floor semi (in toronto) and our home is of a brownish red brick. Our window frames and casings are white but we are open to painting them - our eavestroughs are brown - also open to painting those - roof is brown but it is going to be replaced (need ideas on what color). I'm struggling to find a paint color for the porch and rail that will go well with the black door - I am going for a contemporary look - I would like to incorporate orange accents (mailbox, planters...) Inititally we thought a dark grey / charcoal (BM Kendal Charcoal) floor with taupy grey (BM Sandy hook gray) for the rail - I'm not sold on that combo - Landscaping is the next project and will also have a contemporary feel to it.Any ideas? I'm at a complete loss.I do not like blues.thanks in advanceddb
