Whoa right there....I'm NOT pregnant!!! :D We bought a house!! Not only did we buy a house, but we bought it purely for its location (and its double detatched garage..lol). Its a half duplex, but its only 3 blocks away from where we live now...so the kids don't have to change schools/daycare. We got a pretty good deal, its a solid house with decent bones....but it needs some serious updating. When I say updating, I mean 1972 called and they want their orange shag rug back! We take possesion on Aug 13 but don't move in till the end of Aug, so that gives us a couple of weeks to paint and replace flooring. I don't have any pics yet, but I'm going to need some serious help from you guys! I'll be in touch soon with pics and questions.

ooohh, sounds good! We just moved too, in July, also 70's decor that needs serious repainting! lol. I am threatening to paint each week, but still so much other stuff gets in the way, like..unpacking, lol
Hopefully I can prime this weekend, anything just to get rid of these dark rust colour walls! Including the dark trim! I have terracotta in the kitchen, burgandy in the diningroom and rust in the whole main floor, lol. aaarrrrggghhh. :D
We can scare each other with before pics, lol
