kitchen lighting

Hello everyone! I am wondering what to pick as my kitchen light fixtures.  I have a very small island.  It is an eat in kitchen also.  So, I would need two fixtures.  One above the island and one above the table.  My appliances are stainless steel and my curtain rods and fixtures are stainless steel.  My kitchen cabinets are a very dark brown espresso colour.  My counter top is speckled brown and beige.  My backsplash is a creamy beige and so are my tiles.  WOuld you have any suggestions on lighting?  Should I use stainless steel?  Black?    By the way my curtains are neutral also and are a champagne beige colour.Thanking you in advanceMarisa

Contemporary Universal Lighting is a great idea to be looked on.

Good combination. Try a contemporary to suite the universal style of the place and it will give some radiance to your place.
