These are the few things I do with left over ham.

1) Onion, garlic, and green bell peppers combine with ham, cheddar cheese pasta sauce and, for a surprise ingredient, nacho cheese sauce. This delicious and rich combination is served over fettuccine pasta or spaghetti.

2) Ham Cheese and Corn Sandwich Spread

3) Ham is delicious in any grilled sandwich.

4) You can substitute ham for any other meat in any casserole, especially freeze ahead casseroles.

5) Just cut a fairly thick slice of ham and grill it to reheat it. Th mustard and peach sauce that glazes this steak is simply fabulous.

Wow, a leftover ham! You can use the slices as fillings for clubhouse sandwich. You can even make them as fillings for your omelette. Or mix them as garnish for your fried rice. You can even dip it in a batter and fry, and then you can have it as a viand with steamed rice.

Leftover ham is so versatile, it can be used as a filling for vol au vents, utilised as lardons, fried up at the start of a stew/bolognaise/casserole so add a really rich aspect to these dishes or just used as a topper for some pizzas? You're only limited by your own imagination!

Just want to add a couple of recipes to this.  First one is for breakfast.  Julliane some ham into a large ramikin dish.  Saute up some mushrooms and put on top of the ham.  Crack an egg on top of the mushrooms and put into a 350o oven until the egg is cooked.  Melt a slice of swiss cheese on top and breakfast is ready!

The second receipe is my favourite!  Cube up some left over boiled potatoes and fry up in a frypan.  Add some cubed ham and cook until hot.  Stir in a couple of tablespoons of mayonaise and then some shredded or cut up cheddar cheese until melted.  Very yummy and filling.  (the mayo is important to this dish so don't leave it out).  Enjoy.

hi Jeep!

for me, here at home we love the picnic ham as we can use it in so many ways.

But for ur leftovers, just chop it and use it mixed with burger steak, in ur Pâté Chinois (sheppard pie)

Big difference in the taste. I also put a can of cream style corn, and one of whole Kernel corn.

Lots of mashed potatoes on the top, decorated with bit of parsley at the end.

Bon Appétit!
