We have 2 what they call "Fat Boys" they look like a small tank but are much wider and taller. The reason we went with them is if you go with a big tank that sits in your yard you have to have it 20 feet from any building and it would have to sit right in the middle of our lawn. With the Fat Boys they can go right up beside a building so we have it beside our detached garage at the backof the house. We have only ouyr BBQ cooktop and 1 fireplace using propane and we have had it filled when we moved in Mar 08 and they were filled again this spring and it was only about $200.00 so we don't use much. We are on a monthly checkup and the truck just comes and looks and if it needs filling they fill it the tanks are to big you couldn't move them to fill them on your own.
We ordered the cooktop in a Propane I am not sure what it takes to convert it to gas.
