Try not to let the water sit out for a few days - it will lose the oxygen in it. Would you like to drink stale flat water?? I don't think your plants would either.
If you are worried about the chlorine use a filtering system that takes the chlorine and other unwanted chemicals out of the water.
If you are like any of us here, you might want to consider using water that has been set out on the counter for a few days since all the cholrine in the water will vaporate and it will be distilled.
Give that a try and see how that helps
Like any flowering plant orchids will naturally lose their blooms. It is the natural cycle of the plant. If you have not had a bloom in a long, long time try fertilizer or a more sunny spot.
