pecan pie

i was wondering if anyone has made homemade pecan pie...i am tempted to try and make it myself...but...fear that since it is the only pie i like...i WILL eat it all...i would have to make 2...:D

absolutely no ability to make pie crusts...hard as a rock...lol...but i figure if i buy the crust i'll make the filling...so it sounds simple enuff....

I have made pecan pie - it's just like making a giant butter tart - substituting pecans for raisins. If you have a knack for pastry the pie filling is easy.

The only thing that I could fit into those would be one arm!! LOL

...yeah, I've have to agree that snug is not a good thing especially if there's a roll hanging over the top of the jeans! oh...but you wouldn't know anything about that, jen :D ;)

I still say make the pie! hehe

wrong is that if i eat a whole pecan pie to myself...ummm...my size 0 jeans will be a lil snug for a few day...no way...definetly not a good thing...LOL

....so what's wrong with eating a whole pie by yourself? Just make sure that if you do so, that you have some privacy and a good movie is on :D

sorry, I've never made pecan pie before but if I did DH would be putty in my hands because it's one of his favourites too! hehe
