For the second year, I have planted morning glories along the center fence panel on one side of my yard. I have a thin bamboo rod on hooks at the top, and the netting I bought from the garden store last year was still in good shape so I thought I may as well plant seeds a second year. I'm not really sure how I'll develop this garden border yet, or what kind of plants I'll put in the ground, so these fill in a good portion of space and give me something to look at for now. I was hopeful to get the fence panel completely covered with the vines, but it is not to be. The netting is not too showy though, so I guess it looks ok.
I also added some black pots I got for $5.99 each at London Drugs. I think they were a good buy for the size of them. I placed them on round cement stepping stones to keep them level. I have a plan to pot them up with this and that I already have growing in the garden, but I haven't gotten around to digging up and dividing stuff yet. I really love black planters and pots!
