Safeway in now carring shery wine vinegar and grapeseed oil. Most Italian and Greek deli's also have it. I also go to Gourmet Warehouse and Meinhardt's, but I find them more expensive, but excellant quality
Could you tell me where you buy all those speciality vinegars and the grapeseed oil? Thanks

I use this particularly in the summer when the produce is fresh ....the grape oil really provides a fresh taste
Lumiere House Vinaigrette
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
3 tablespoons sherry vinegar
salt and fresh ground pepper
1 cup grapeseed oil
Juice of half a lemon
In a mixing bowl, whisk together mustard, vinegars and salt and pepper to taste. Whisking constantly, very slowly drizzle the oil into the mixture. Whisk in lemon Juice to taste. Store in refrigerator for up to one week
Make 1 1/3 cups
Try this.... I don't measure I just do dressings by taste....
Dijon Mustard 1/2 - 3/4 tsp
garlic 1 - 2 cloves
olive oil
white wine vinegar
dried tarragon ( this can be left out if you don't like the flavour it adds)
salt & pepper to taste
TRy using flavoured rice wine vinegar, it is sweeter,or use a little sugar in you mixture along with a good dijon mustard.
try the olive garden dressing mix from copycat recipes (a great place to find recipes to make your fave restaurant things)

standard is 3 parts oil to 1 part vinegar. I often use olive oil and rice wine vinegar (slight sweet taste, mild) + add any spices you like like garlic, basil, romano cheese etc.
