Browneyedgirl, as my mom (suzie g) was saying, everyone loves the broccoli salad she makes. It's absolutely delicious and very different. I'll get her to come and post the recipe :)
just give me a minute ...
Thanks for the recipe, it looks easy enought! Looking forward to taste testing!
this is such a tradition for us...easy & healthy..hope you like. The ration of bean to potoae is up to you we do more beans less potatoe but that can easily be adjusted. Furthermore I must apologize as with most family recipes measurements are by eye, feel & taste:D
Green beans, blanched & cooled
Potatoes, boiled & peeled
When all is cool, chop to whatever size suits you & dress generously with olive oil red wine vinegar, salt, pepper & a thinly sliced onion crumbled oregano OR fresh basil.
That's it!! The longer it marinates the better the flavours;)
I would love a copy of the gr bean & potato and the tuna noodle recipes! I dislike cooking because I am so bad at it!! Any easy prep, NO FAIL, yummy recipes are appreciated!!
any of the following...
crab antipasto salad (SUPER easy)
green bean & potatoe with vinagrette dressing
or coucous with lentils, green olives, fresh mint & a lemon & olive oil dressing?
Let me know if any tweak your interest & I'll post the recipe. All are easy- easy prep- ahead & cream free so no major fear of spoilage in the summer:)
You could try a nice ceasar salad...I also have a nice recipe for a tuna noodle salad...or you could do a taco salad. It has all the toppings of a taco..but in a salad..if you want the recipes let me know
Can you post your recipe for Thai meatballs as well???
I will pick up a copy of that one!! thanks - as I always love the standards but love to add a new "hit" as my thai meatballs are
that would be great!!
